PIERCE – Funeral service for Angie K. Flesner, 49, of Pierce, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday January 21, 2026 at the Christ Lutheran Church in Pierce. Reverend Jacquie Samway P.M.A will be officiating the service. Interment will be at the Prospect View Cemetery, rural Pierce, NE. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 20, 2026 also at the church. Angie passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at the University of Nebraska-Medicine in Omaha. Stonacek Memorial Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Angela Kay (Wragge) Flesner was born on October 30, 1976 to Steve and Peggy (O'Neal) Wragge in Norfolk, Nebraska. She was baptized on November 21, 1976 and confirmed on April 21, 1989, at her lifelong church, Christ Lutheran in Pierce. Angie attended Pierce Public Schools and graduated in 1995. She married Steve Flesner on July 13, 1996 and they were blessed with two wonderful children, Claudia and Wyatt. She worked at Shopko through high school and college, Nebraska Harvester until 2011, and the last 15 years at White Trucking. Angie loved her church, where she taught Sunday School, was Sunday School superintendent, served on church council, and volunteered as church bookkeeper for many years. Her proudest days were spent watching her children grow up into the wonderful adults they are now, and following all of their many various activities. When her grandchildren, Cora and Bennett came along, attending their events were just as important and enjoyable for her. She always loved spending time with her entire family, especially when they all talked over each other at the same time! Some other activities enjoyed by Angie were music, junking, and tinkering in her flowerbeds. Survivors include her spouse of almost 30 years, Steve; her children, Claudia (Thomas) Cardwell and Wyatt (Macie Timm); grandchildren, Cora and Bennett; parents, Steve and Peggy Wragge; father-in-law, Frank Flesner; siblings, Todd Wragge, Candy (Pat) Ryan, and Jared (Amber) Wragge; brothers and sisters in law, Steph Knust (Greg Jeffries), Anne (Jeremy) McKeown, Tom Flesner, and Keith (Jaima) Flesner; and many nieces and nephews, Nathan, Madison and Brennan Wragge; Noah (Anna) Marik and Mason (Rachel) Marik; Avery and Madelyn Wragge; Colton, Lexi, and Jackson Knust; Alex, Kelly, and Zane McKeown; and Quintin, Austin and Westin Flesner; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who also loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Beth Flesner; aunts, Jackie White and Sandy O'Neal; grandparents, Wallace and Eunice Wragge, and Lloyd and Irma O'Neal.
