Anne M. Weber

PIERCE -- Funeral service for Anne M. Weber, 81 of Pierce, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the Zion Lutheran Church, Pierce. Interment will take place at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, rural Pierce. Officiating the service will be Reverend Gordon Bruce and Vicar Justin Brockman. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2023 at Zion Lutheran Church, Pierce. Anne died on Monday, July 24, 2023 at the Colonial Manor in Randolph. Stonacek Memorial Chapel in Pierce is in charge of the arrangements. Anne was born on September 7, 1941 rural Plainview to Ed and Rose (Baumann) Lerum. She Attended grade school at Plainview Public Schools and graduated from Plainview High School in 1959. She was baptized at the Congregational Church in Plainview and was confirmed at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Foster. Anne married Jack Weber on March 3, 1961 at the Congregational Church in Plainview. The couple moved to Pierce in 1967 and became faithful members at Zion Lutheran Church in 1970. Anne worked for Dale Electronics for 35 years retiring in 2003. After retirement Anne kept busy preparing meals for both the Zion Lutheran School in Pierce and also the Pierce County Jail. Anne was a Sunday School superintendent at Zion for 30 years, an EMT in Pierce from 1993 until her passing, and coached AYSO soccer for 26 years. She enjoyed things such as playing cards at the senior center, gardening, canning, water skiing, spending time with family and friends, and always attended the grandchildren’s activities. Survivors include her Husband Jack Weber of Pierce; son, Brian Weber of Pierce; daughter, Tina Kumm (significant other Curtis Brand) of Plainview; grandchildren, Dylan Moore (fiancé Kiersten Woodard) of Norfolk, Brooklyn Kumm of Norfolk, Jensen Kumm of Plainview, Amanda (Curtis) Evans of Yankton, SD, two, great grandchildren, Karli and Toby. Brothers Lyle (Joyce) Lerum of Vista, CA, Glen (Joan) Lerum of Woodstock, IL., and sister-in-law Donna Lerum of Omaha. Anne was Preceded in death by her parents Ed and Rose, son Alvin Weber, brothers Keith Lerum and Leon Lerum. Casket bearers will be Adam Ellenberger, Matthew Ellenberger, Steve Hintz, Damon Allbee, Rex Lerum, Jim Lerum, Rock Lerum, and Greg Lerum. Honorary casket bearers will be the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be sent to the new Zion Lutheran School Project as well as the Pierce Senior Center.
