Beverly A. "Bev" Kroupa

Pierce – Funeral service for Beverly Ann Kroupa, 78, of Pierce will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 17, 2025 at the Pierce United Church of Christ, Pierce, NE. Officiating the service will be Reverend Brian High and Reverend Terry Buol. Interment will be at Prospect View Cemetery, rural Pierce, NE. A visitation will take place from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, at Pierce United Church Of Christ in Pierce. Beverly passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Heritage of Bel-Air nursing home in Norfolk. Arrangements are by Stonacek Memorial Chapel, Pierce, NE. Beverly was born in Norfolk to her loving parents Elmer and Mollie (Busch) Wagner on July 19, 1946. She was raised along with her two siblings Ronnie and Mary, on the family farm northeast of Pierce. She was baptized and confirmed at the First Congregational United Church Of Christ. Beverly attended rural school District #6, and graduated from Pierce High School in 1964. Beverly married Bill Kroupa on August 23, 1964 at First Congregational United Church Of Christ in Norfolk. They were married 60 years. Beverly and Bill raised five children on the farm west of Pierce. Beverly’s early working years were spent at Reeds Furniture in Pierce and the A.S.C. office in Pierce. She then began her career at Cones State Bank which later became Midwest Bank. Beverly helped on the farm and enjoyed baking and looked forward to each spring tending to her flowers and garden. Beverly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will always be remembered for putting the needs and wants of others before hers. Beverly was an active member of her church Pierce United Church of Christ, playing the piano and organ. Beverly was a member of the Ladies Aid, church board, Sunday school teacher. In addition, she was a lifelong member of P.E.O and Eastern Star. Survivors Include husband of 60 years Bill Kroupa of Pierce, children; Michael (Lanette) Kroupa of Pierce, Mark (Michelle) Kroupa of Hadar, Kristy (Lance) Novacek of Norfolk, David Kroupa of Pierce and Kerri Kroupa (Ryan Greenfield) of Gretna. Grandchildren; Mattias (Rebecca) Kroupa, Austin Kroupa, Maci (Derek) Drudik, Garret (Kaylee) Kroupa, Marlie Kroupa, Kenadee and Landon Novacek Mollie and Ryland Greenfield, Dylan and Kain Kroupa. Siblings; Mary (Richard) Dungan of Norfolk, Ronnie (Kathy) Wagner of Hawthorn Woods, Illinois, plus many cousins and nephews. Beverly was preceded in death by parents Elmer and Mollie and her father and mother-in-law William and Mary Kroupa. Beverly will be missed immensely; her suffering is gone and her soul is set free to be in God’s eternal salvation. Music will be by organist Emily Prince, and soloist Paul Jessen singing, “I Can Only Imagine”. Congregational Hymns will be “Nearer My God To Thee”, “The Old Rugged Cross”, “Softly and Tenderly Jesus Is Calling”.
