Debra "Deb" S. Wattier

RANDOLPH – Funeral service for Debra S. “Deb” Wattier, 73, of Norfolk, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 11, 2025 at the St. Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in Randolph. Deacon Doug Tunink will be officiating the service. Inurnment will be held at 3:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 11, at the parish cemetery, rural Randolph. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday, also at the church with a Vigil service beginning at 5:00 p.m. Deb passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at the Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk. Stonacek Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Deb was born on November 15, 1951 in Norfolk, Nebraska to LaVerle and Lois (Meyer) Schnoor. She attended grade school in Sholes, Nebraska and graduated from Randolph High School. After high school, Deb then attended beauty school. Deb married Lawrence L. “Larry” Wattier on April 17, 1971 at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in Randolph. After marriage, Deb and Larry lived in Norfolk and then Lincoln. While living in Norfolk, Deb worked as a cosmetologist for over 30 years. After Larry passed away in 2021, Deb moved to Norfolk. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their events. Deb enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, and her beloved dog, Oynx. Survivors include her three daughters, Stacey (Jim) Scott of Randolph, Angie (Travis) Baumann of Norfolk, Carrie Tweedy (fiancé Jason Hatch) of Florida, nine grandchildren, Sydney Scott of Randolph, Noah Scott (fiancée Isabelle) of Lincoln, Ella Scott of Randolph, Anden (Gavin) Williams of Omaha, Taelin, Atley Baumann of Norfolk, Madilyn, Makenna, Sam Tweedy Florida, two great-grandchildren Riley and Bodey Gall of Randolph, siblings Joan (Dave) Baier of Wayne, Linda (Steve) Sehi of Norfolk, Jon (Jeanne) Schnoor of New Mexico, and Jim (Theresa) Schnoor of Randolph, brothers/sister-in-law Tom (Elaine) Wattier of Laurel, Roger (Trudy) Wattier of Beatrice, Barb (Larry) Paulsen of Coleridge, and Liz Wattier of Osmond. Deb was preceded in death by her husband Larry Wattier on May 8, 2021, parents LaVerle and Lois Schnoor, father/mother-in-law Leo and Loretta Wattier, brother-in-law Allen Burbach, brother -in-law and sister-in-law Jim and Marie Wattier, Bob Wattier, and sister-in-law Arjean Wattier.
