RANDOLPH — Services for Emily M. Bloomquist, 16, of Randolph will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in Randolph. The Revs. Tim Forget and Michael Swanton and Deacon Doug Tunink will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday at the church in Randolph with a 7 p.m. rosary. Stonacek Memorial Chapel in Osmond is in charge of the arrangements. She died Friday, March 4, 2016, as the result of an automobile accident southeast of Randolph. She was born March 9, 1999, in Norfolk, the daughter of Mark and Rhonda (Larson) Bloomquist. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church at Randolph. Emily loved sports — basketball, track, volleyball and dance. She loved spending time with her family, friends and two dogs, Milo and Molly. She worked as a certified nursing assistant at Randolph Colonial Manor and was waitress at Jerry’s Hilltop, as well as a substitute Life Guard at Randolph Swimming Pool. Emily loved helping and assisting people and talking to everyone on her phone. She was a junior at Randolph High School in Randolph. Emily was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in Randolph and the Catholic Youth Group. She was a server for the last seven years at St. Jane Frances Catholic Church, a Student Council officer, an officer of the junior class, student manager of the wrestling team, a freshman homecoming escort, a prom server her sophomore year and a blood donor. Survivors are her parents, Mark and Rhonda Bloomquist of Randolph; siblings Connor, Brandon and Taylor Bloomquist, all of Randolph; grandparents Doris Jean Larson and Larry Carstens of Pierce; grandfather Eldred Bloomquist of Randolph; aunts; uncles; cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Armella Bloomquist, and her aunt, Jani Bloomquist. George Bradley, LaRee Gubbels and Terri Haselhorst will provide music for the funeral. Musical selections are “Here I am Lord,” “The Lord is my Shepherd,” “I Can Only Imagine,” “How Great Thou Art,” “On Eagle’s Wings,” “Address In The Stars” and “I Hope You Dance.” Casketbearers are Jim Scott, Darrin Nordhues, Darin Loberg, Scott Backhaus, Leonard Schaefer and Colin Schurman.
