Lee Arnold Droescher

NORFOLK -- Celebration of life service for Lee Arnold Droescher, 83, Norfolk, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hadar. Interment will be held at the Hadar cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk. Memorials can be sent to the family for later designation. Lee passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk. Stonacek Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Lee A. Droescher was born March 13, 1942 in Norfolk to Leo and Agnes (Spreeman) Droescher. He was baptized April 5, 1942 and confirmed May 1, 1955 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. In 1959 he graduated from Pierce High School. He married Beverly Wagner on January 5, 1964 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hoskins. The couple moved to the family farm northwest of Hadar. In addition to farming, Lee was employed at Farmers Grain, Hadar for 49 years. Lee volunteered with the Hadar Fire Department from 1965-2008, serving as chairman for 30 years. Lee loved spending time with family which often included golf, fishing or a sporting activity. He also was passionate about Nebraska football and completing the daily crossword puzzle. He was known for having a gentle spirit and kind heart. Lee served at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hadar as elder, treasurer, as well as the school board. Survivors include his wife Beverly Droescher, Norfolk; son Murray (Jami) of Olathe; son Kyle (Amy) of Elkhorn; daughter Amanda (Caelen) Friedow of Hadar; 13 grandchildren Amber (Dan) Kavan; Afton (Cole) Tietgen; Brock Droescher; Tanner (Caitlyn) Holland; Cole Droescher; Caleb (Gina) Droescher; Cristian (Allison) Droescher; Micah (Hanna) Droescher; Addison Friedow; Carson Friedow; Greenleigh Flesner; Piper Flesner; Emerson Flesner; seven great grandchildren; and brother Rick (Connie) Droescher of Norfolk. He was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Agnes (Spreeman) Droescher and his brother Jack. Casket bearers will be his grandsons Brock Droescher, Tanner Holland, Cole Droescher, Caleb Droescher, Cristian Droescher and Micah Droescher.
