RANDOLPH – Funeral service for Randy L. Graf, 72, of Randolph, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at the St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in Randolph. Officiating the service will be Father Kevin Vogel and Deacon Doug Tunink. Interment will be held at the Belden City Cemetery, Belden, Nebraska. Visitation will be from 4:00–7:00 p.m., Monday, also at the church with a prayer service starting at 7:00 p.m. Randy passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at his residence in Randolph with his family at his side. Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Randolph is in charge of the arrangements. Randy Lee was born on February 20, 1952 in Laurel, NE to Darrell and Dolores (Ehlke) Graf. He grew up on a farm near Belden and went to school in Belden and graduated from Randolph in 1970. Randy farmed after graduation and married Shirley Winkelbauer on Oct. 19, 1974 at St. Jane Frances Catholic Church in Randolph. Randy farmed, sold Standard Feed, managed Bicentennial Hog Coop, worked at Circle E, the Randolph Farm Supply, worked for various farmers in the Randolph area, and was the “Kerrie Stable Boy.” Randy was one of the original founders of the Randolph Saddle Club. He enjoyed riding horses, tractor drives, camping, and spending time with family. Survivors include his wife of 49 years Shirley Graf of Randolph, children Tina (Andy) Thelen, Tracy Backhaus, Troy (Danielle) Graf all of Randolph, 8 grandchildren: Shawn and Paige Thelen, Kylie and Ross Wurdinger, Rylee Thelen, Alexis Backhaus, Delayne Thelen, Ella Graf, Erika Graf, and Cooper Backhaus, 2 great-grandchildren: Oliver and Oakleigh Thelen, mother Dolores Carroll, siblings Rich Graf, Rhonda (Dave) Whalen, step-siblings: Dan Carroll, Doug (Shannon) Carroll, Dean Carroll, Dennis Carroll, Deb (Dennis) Allemann – Dannelly, in-laws Barb (Gary) Frederick, Bob (Gloria) Winkelbauer, Rosie (Edwin) Backer, Roger (Sharolyn) Winkelbauer, Jerry (Joy) Winkelbauer, Jeff (Suzanne) Winkelbauer, and many nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by his father Darrell, stepfather Ed Carroll, parent-in-laws Dave and Doris Winkelbauer. Casket bearers will be Brian Winkelbauer, Bradley Winkelbauer, Chad Winkelbauer, Chris Winkelbauer, Bryce Whalen, Nolan Whalen, Gary John Frederick, and Tyler Dendinger.
