Robert "Bob" E. Feddern

NORFOLK – Funeral services for Robert E. “Bob” Feddern, 86, of Norfolk will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Norfolk. Rev. Mike Moreno and Rev. Jim Carretto will be officiating the services. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Norfolk. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026 from 2-4:00 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Norfolk. Military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post 16, V.F.W. Post 1644, and the United States Army Honor Guard. As loved ones gathered near, Robert "Bob" Feddern went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Orphan Grain Train, or Christ Lutheran School Foundation or Christ Lutheran School. John 11:25-26. Stonacek Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Robert Emil Feddern was born on the family farm north of Pierce on September 16, 1939 to Emil and Ella (Bockelmann) Feddern. He was united into Christ through the gift of Holy Baptism on October 8, 1939 at Zion Lutheran, Pierce, and confirmed that gift of faith there on April 11, 1954. He attended District 44 and graduated from Pierce High in 1958. Following graduation, he enlisted in the army for 2 years and served in the army reserves receiving honorable discharge in February, 1965. He married the former Edith Saegebarth April 28, 1963 at Zion Lutheran, Pierce. The Lord provided them with two children, Malinda and Jason. When they were first married, he worked for Moorman Feed and then did residential construction for many years. His job career also included Goodyear, Handy Candy vending, Wacker Home Improvement and Kitchen Place. He retired as manager of the Orphan Grain Train warehouse. He spent many retirement hours recycling items in the garage and sharing coffee time with new and old friends. He was a very caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend and will be missed by all. He was a member of Christ Lutheran and served on various boards. He enjoyed visiting with people and Stephen Ministries was dear to his heart. Though no longer with us, may the joy of Jesus that filled his heart resonate in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He is survived by his wife, Edith of Norfolk, son, Jason (Kendra) Feddern of Norfolk, 4 grandchildren; Duane Feddern, Courtney Feddern, H Colton Werner (Kelsey), Robyn (Luke) Korth, and 7 greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Malinda, sister Dianne, brother, Roger and brother-in-law’s Ray Hermann and Al Holland.
