Sharon I. Koeppe

HADAR -- Celebration of life service for Sharon I. Koeppe, 64, of Hadar, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Norfolk. Pastor Caleb Wehling will be officiating the service. Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, rural Hadar. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, also at Our Savior Lutheran Church with a memory sharing beginning at 7:00 p.m. The service will be livestreamed on the Church's Youtube page at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_s1TI2JBDt9BcDmkVxPsuQ?app=desktop. Sharon passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025 at the Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk. Stonacek Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Sharon was born March 5, 1961 in West Point, NE to Herman and Eleanor (Majerus) Starman. She attended grade school in Wisner and graduated from Wisner High School in 1979. She then attended and graduated from Wayne State College receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Social Services. She later earned her Masters Degree from Wayne State College. Sharon married BJ Koeppe on June 6, 1987 at the Willow Bowl at Wayne State College in Wayne. After marriage, Sharon and BJ lived in an apartment in Norfolk, then moved onto a farm in rural Norfolk. They later moved to Hadar where they raised their family. Sharon worked her entire professional career at Nebraska Vocational Rehabilitation in Norfolk for over 30 years and was still currently working. She enjoyed planting flowers, gardening, exercising at the YMCA, helping in the community, and shopping. She loved her grandchildren and spending time with them. She will be remembered as a generous, kind-hearted, and loving friend, sister, mom, wife, and grandma. She stood strong in her faith and lived her life through Christ's love. Survivors include her husband BJ Koeppe of Hadar, son Matt (Christiana) Koeppe of Ponca and their children Jones and Briggs, grandchildren Sawyer, Harper and Maddox Koeppe of Winterset, IA, mother Eleanor Starman of Wisner, NE, sisters Annette Jobman of Lincoln, Lynn (Glenn) Baumert of Wahoo, Karen Starman of Norfolk, and Brandy Starman of Wisner, and brother Roger (Alice) Starman of Norfolk.
