    October 25, 1954 - November 23, 2019

    NORFOLK -- Memorial service for Art D. Willer, 65, of Norfolk will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk with Rev. Terry Buol officiating. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Art passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk. Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk is in charge of the arrangements. Art Dwight Willer was born on October 25, 1954 to Darrell and Bonidel (Nailor) Willer in Le Mars, Iowa. He attended grade school in Wisner and Moville, Iowa. He then graduated from Woodbury Central High School in Moville. Art married Karry Hill on August 24, 1973 in Moville, Iowa. Art’s entire career was spent at NMC in Norfolk. Art enjoyed spending time with family and his beloved dog was always important. He also enjoyed being outside, watching NASCAR, and enjoying a cold drink. Cancer took Art much sooner than his family expected, but he gave it a vigorous fight and even gave his family a few laughs as they surrounded him in his final hours. Survivors include his wife Karry Willer of Norfolk, children Chris (Jessica) Willer, Elli (Shy) Jasper, Andy (Jordan) Willer all of Norfolk, 12 grandchildren, brother Bill (Lori) Willer of Moville, sister Kelly (Angel) Willer of Maryland, in-laws Jackie (Jeff) Bremer of Moville, Tom (Sara) Hill of Omaha, and Vicki Dvoracek of Texas. Art was preceded in death by his parents Darrell and Bonidel, brother Jim, sister Peggy, in-laws Albert (Betty) Hill, and Ron Hill. Soloist will be Doug Tunink singing “The Farewell Song.” Recorded music will be “With Hope” , “I’ll See You Again” , and “Amazing Grace, My Chains are Gone.” Condolences may be expressed to the family on-line at www.stonacekfuneralchapel.com
