Shawnelle L. "Shawni" Montgomery

PIERCE - Funeral service for Shawnelle L. Montgomery, 64, of Cheyenne, WY, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 5, 2021 at the United Church of Christ in Pierce. Interment will be held at the Prospect View Cemetery, rural Pierce. Shawnelle passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021 in Cheyenne, WY. Stonacek Memorial Chapel in Pierce is in charge of the arrangements. Lydia Shawnelle “Shawni” Montgomery, a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend went to be with the Lord October 28, 2021 at age 64. She was born to Dolen & Patricia Easley on August 15, 1957 in Oakland, California. After graduating Newark High School in Newark, California she attended Ohlone Community College in Fremont Ca. Shawni joined her father as a coworker at Owens-Illinois Glass Company in Oakland where she met her first husband Robert S. Montgomery Sr. Together they had one child, Rikki Lee. Shawni loved shopping, attending sporting events, concerts and spoiling her only granddaughter Ciara. She loved cars and car shows where she would display her collection nearly every Summer weekend with her husband Dave Shimerka. She is survived by her husband Dave, her daughter Rikki Lee Lucas , son in law Scott Wirtley, granddaughter Ciara Lucas of Tracy California, her sister in law Eileen Sanchez, along with 4 nieces and nephews, all residing in the Livermore, Ca.
