Patricia "Pat" M. Wagner

BELDEN – Funeral service for Patricia M. “Pat” Wagner, 70, of Belden, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 25, 2026 at the Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk. Pastor Shannon Arduser will be officiating the service. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, Apr. 24, also at Stonacek Funeral Chapel. Memorials can be made to the family for a later designation. Pat passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Stonacek Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Pat was born on May 23, 1955 in Plainview, Nebraska to Dennis and Eleanor (Ebel) Hemenway. She grew up in Creighton and Neligh attending grade school at St. Ludger’s Catholic School in Creighton, graduated from Elgin Pope John High School in 1973, then attended Mount Marty College for Art, and then later Northeast Community College and graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Autobody. During her high school and college education she worked at a turkey farm. After her first marriage she moved to Fordyce and other places in northeast Nebraska before she settled in Belden. She worked as an accountant for Kolterman Farm Equipment, cooked at WeeTown, and worked as a dispatcher for Double R Trucking until she retired. She enjoyed camping, fishing, art, and spending time with family. Survivors include her children Jessie Ahlmann (Tina Nelsen) of Norfolk, Julie Wanke of Pierce, Theresa (Chuck) Clausen-Witzel of Norfolk, Jared Wagner of Norfolk, A.J. Madsen (Sereena Shamblen) of Omaha, James Wagner of Lincoln, 15 grandchildren, siblings Karen Bonner of Sioux City, IA, Georgia Jasper of Monroe, Marilyn (Galen) Rader of Brunswick, Rodney Hemenway of Creighton, Alan (Deb) Hemenway of Elgin, Duane Hemenway of Lindsay, Beth (Todd) Damme of Neligh, Edward (Anne) Hemenway of Neligh, and sister-in-law Becky (Jr) Hemenway-Clayborn of Fulton, MO. Pat was preceded in death by her parents Dennis and Eleanor Hemenway, grandchildren Alexander Clausen, Candace Clausen, Andrew Clausen, brothers Joe Hemenway, Mike Hemenway, brothers-in-law Mike Bonner and Dick Jasper, and her husbands Lester Ahlmann and Jody Wagner.
