Shirley A. Molini

NORFOLK — Services for Shirley Ann Molini, 80, Norfolk, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk. The Rev. Rick Bradley will officiate with private burial at a later date. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel in Norfolk. She died Sunday, April 10, 2016, at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home in Norfolk. Born Dec. 2, 1935, at Milbank, S.D., she was the daughter of Fred and Antonia (Meyer) Settje. She graduated from Corona High School in South Dakota. On Feb. 27, 1958, in Corona, S.D., she married John James Molini. Shirley and John had met on the east coast. The family moved to Norfolk in 1967. Shirley worked at Wis-Pak for 24 years in quality control. She enjoyed watching her children’s sporting events over the years. Shirley also enjoyed spending time together with her family and traveling throughout the United States. Shirley was a member of Heartland Baptist Church and the Norfolk Boosters Club. Survivors include a son, Jim and Molly Molini of Iowa City, Iowa, (their children, Emily and Ellen); a daughter, Toni and Chad Budke of Norfolk (their children, Trish and Elizabeth); a son, Mike and Kim Molini of Tulsa, Okla., (their children, Levi and spouse Laurel, and their three daughters, Layney, Leighton, Lexi); a son, Pat and Tina Molini of Waverly (their children, Lilly and Ruby); a son, Tom and Mary Molini of Grapevine, Texas (their children, Cody, Stephanie and spouse, Michael, and their two children, Thomas and Quinn); daughter Ann Heiderman of Norfolk (her four children, Jeremy, Josh and spouse Marissa and their two sons, Connor and Bennet, Jordon and Jannie); sisters Esther DiLeo of Easton, Md., and Marjorie Johnson of Fargo, N.D. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Antonia; her spouse, John, who passed away March 27, 2010; a granddaughter, Jantje; seven brothers and one sister. Recorded hymns will be “Just As I Am,” “Amazing Grace, My Chains Are Gone,” “What A Day That Will Be” and “Old Rugged Cross.” Casketbearers will be Shirley’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
